A Clearwater father was arrested on Thursday and charged with Aggravated Manslaughter in the death of his 1-year-old son.
According to Pinellas County deputies, on September 28, 34-year-old Alan Morris left his 1-year-old son Liam Morris, unattended in a bathtub with the water running and the child later died.

Morris was arrested in 2016 for Aggravated Domestic Battery on a pregnant female, Burglary, Grand Theft and Tampering with Evidence.
Sheriff Bob Gualtieri will be holding a press conference at 3:00 p.m. on Friday to discuss the investigation that led to Morris' arrest.
