NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — Pasco County investigators are searching for a group of men who beat and robbed a teenager after following him for more than one mile.

Geoffrey Lehman, 15, tells ABC Action News he was walking home from Gulf High School just after 5 p.m. Wednesday when he noticed a truck following him beginning at State Road 54 and Madison Street.

Two unknown male suspects attacked Lehman when he got to his neighborhood near Overton Drive and Pensdale Drive in Elfers.

Moments later, surveillance video from a nearby home shows two more unknown suspects exit an older model teal pickup truck, possibly a Ford Ranger, and join in the attack.

“Once I turned into my neighborhood, they turned with me and I saw the truck that they were in," said Lehman.

Lehman went to the emergency room Wednesday night suffering a fractured jaw and had three teeth knocked out.

"I was mad that I wasn't there to protect my son," said Stephanie Byrd. "We'll find you guys and you will pay for what you did to my son."

The unknown suspects stole Lehman's Samsung Galaxy 8, Nike backpack, wallet and identification.

"These people are worthless pieces of scum," said Byrd. "I hope that you guys get caught. My son did not deserve this."
