Nearly a dozen security cameras in a Port Richey neighborhood captured video of two young men as they broke into cars and stole an autistic boy’s bicycle.

“I really want it back,” Allen, 7, said of his brand new bike. "I got it for Christmas.”

The theft occurred about 3 a.m. Tuesday at Ranch Road and McKinley Drive. The thieves arrived on one bike but quickly made their way for a second.

Afterward, they checked door after door on vehicles, eventually opening a white pick-up truck. The sight put the entire neighborhood on edge.

"He came to my freaking door, without me even knowing. We're sleeping in the house and they're right outside the door,” one resident said. "Right now it’s starting with jiggling handles and sooner than later they're going to be breaking windows."

But they hope with this video someone will come forward, return Allen’s bike and stop these two thieves before they can do anymore harm.
