DADE CITY, Fla. -- A Dade City church is working to clean up after Sunday's storm ripped the roof off of their building.

The Full Gospel Church of God in Christ says not even an hour after church let out on Sunday the storm came through.

Strong winds tore the roof from their building drenching the sanctuary and destroying nearly everything.

The top of the roof is still full in holes where the rain came pouring in. The sermon Sunday was on “Where is your faith?” Something the pastor’s wife says they were tested with after the service.

“He sent me a picture of what we see outside and I look at my husband and said, literally the roof has came off,” said Stephanie Reeves.

The church says they are thankful for everyone who has stepped in to help.

The plan to have bible studies at the restaurant next door and services in other churches until they are able to repair the damage.
