Pasco deputies are searching for the man they say broke into a Land O' Lakes home before residents fought him off and chased him away.
It happened overnight in the Asbel subdivision when a man broke into a residence armed with a BB gun.
Detectives have not released a description of the man yet, but he was last seen running away on Quarry Badger Rd.
Deputies say the people inside the home got into a fight with him inside and were able to chase him away after he entered through the back door.
The people in the home have some minor injuries from that confrontation.
