A man was hit and killed by a garbage truck in Pasco County early Monday morning.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, in dark and foggy weather conditions, the pedestrian was laying in the westbound lane for an unknown reason on Maryland Ave. west of Triton Terrace.
The garbage truck was traveling westbound and hit the man, who sustained fatal injuries and died at the scene of the crash.
No charges have been filed as of right now.
