NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. — A Pasco County woman was arrested after deputies say she punched someone who was 'staring' at her.
It happened Wednesday afternoon.
According to deputies, Jana McLaughlin, 42, did not know the person, but 'struck them multiple times on the head and face.'
Authorities searched her property during the arrest and found a glass pipe they say is commonly used for smoking meth.
McLaughlin was arrested for simple battery and possession of paraphernalia.
