PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Pasco County Schools is launching a new program on Wednesday that will bring fresh fruit and vegetables to those in the community.

The Farm Fresh Pop-Up kicks off at 10 a.m. at three sites. They will be distributing fresh corn the district received as a donation from Feeding Florida and Scotlynn Sweet-Pac Growers.

Distribution ends when the corn runs out, according to the district.

The corn will be distributed at these drive-thru sites:

  • Chasco Elementary School at 7906 Ridge Road in Port Richey
  • Pineview Middle School at 5334 Parkway Boulevard in Land O’Lakes
  • Pasco High School at 36850 State Road 52 in Dade City

"In the coming weeks, whenever the school district receives a large donation of fresh fruit or vegetables, we will get it out into the community as soon as possible," the district said. "We will pick a location and a time and announce our latest Farm Fresh Pop-Up."
