A rideshare driver in Pasco County was arrested after allegedly touching a rider inappropriately and without her consent.

On June 4, the woman reported that the driver, Juan Nunez-Sarmiento, touched her against her will.

She said she was in his car because he was driving for a rideshare service (it is unclear whether it was Uber or Lyft at this time).

She says Nunez-Sarmiento began touching her breasts during the ride and she asked him to stop several times.

He reportedly did not stop, and instead pulled the car over and continued to touch her.

The victim said she was in fear that she was going to be sexually battered and ran from the car.

Deputies were able to contact the driver, who admitted that the woman asked him not to touch her and that he touched her on the arm and leg.

When asked for an explanation as to why he touched her against her will, Nunez-Sarmiento claimed, "I am just a man."

He was placed under arrest for battery.
