WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — After a little more than two months, Pasco County is ready to unveil a first of its kind project for the area.

Now children of all backgrounds will be able to play side by side at Wesley Chapel District Park. The universally inclusive playground caters to children with physical, cognitive, developmental, emotional and sensory challenges.

From the ground up, every piece of the playground is designed to be accessible.

Some features include a pour-in rubber surface, plus a merry-go-round and rocking raft for wheelchair users.

The ribbon cutting ceremony starts at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 4.
