HUDSON, Fla. — A substitute teacher in Pasco County is facing charges after she was found passed out in her vehicle in the middle of the road with her 7-year-old child in the backseat.

Liba Hucko, 45, is facing charges for driving under the influence and child neglect. An arrest affidavit shows that a sheriff's deputy found Hucko passed out in her white Land Rover after noticing the car sitting in the middle of the road with it's turn signal on for a long amount of time. When the deputy approached the vehicle he found that Hucko's 7-year-old child was alone in the backseat.

Hucko had a strong odor of alcohol coming off her breath as well as bloodshot, glassy eyes and slurred speech when the deputy woke her up. She acted belligerently towards the deputy and hospital staff, the affidavit shows.

Hucko is originally from Slovakia and works as a substitute teacher in Pasco County.
