PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — Seven commercial-grade inflatables from Word of Life in Hudson were stolen Thursday morning.

Surveillance video captures the driver stealing over $17,000 worth of equipment and inflatables.

Word of Life Director Rich Andrews says someone drove off with their trailer. He says the trailer was stolen from a parking lot as it was loaded and ready for an event.

“It bothers us when someone comes where we are, where we live, where we work and takes something that doesn’t belong to them,” said Andrews.

The Word of Life Fellowship uses the inflatables for community events around the area. Sometimes the organization rents them out at a discounted rate, and other times they donate them for events.

Andrews said they’re hoping someone recognizes the four-door silver truck, that has a large tool box in the back, or someone finds the inflatables being resold.

Sadly, they've had to cancel deliveries to five different events.

“So, now it’s last minute, we’re literally calling places on Saturday, like 'hey, we can’t be there,'” said Andrews.

If the inflatables are not found, Word of Life plans to start an internal fundraiser to raise money to replace them.
