PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — A man was arrested and charged after officials say he was driving under the influence when he killed a man in a crash.
Florida Highway Patrol says 36-year-old Alan Thomas Jerdan was traveling on CR-54 and failed to stop at a stop sign at an intersection on Friday.

Jerdan collided with the left side of another vehicle at CR-535, Old Lakeland Highway. The vehicle rotated and overturned onto CR-535, and the driver was ejected from the vehicle.
The driver, 70-year-old Donn Mosier, was transported to the hospital but later died from his injuries.
Jerdan was later arrested for DUI manslaughter and was put in the Pasco County Jail.
