PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — One person has died after a fatal crash on I-75 in Pasco County.
At about 6:35 p.m. a motorcycle driven by a 75-year-old man was merging onto I-75 from the Blanton Road entrance ramp. The motorcycle driver hit a vehicle that collided with a second vehicle.
The 75-year-old was transported to the hospital and died from the injuries. The drivers and passengers in the other two vehicles were not injured.
FHP says that the motorcycle driver "failed to safely merge onto the southbound travel lanes" causing the crash.
I-75 southbound near Blanton Road remains closed while FHP continues to investigate.
