Mowry has four brothers and a sister that said they would not rest until the driver is behind bars.

“Maybe catch this criminal before he kills somebody else,” David Mowry said. “We need that car people, if you can get that car the Mowry family would be extremely happy. We need that car, we need that driver.”

Mowry got hit Saturday night around 8:30 p.m. Investigators collected debris from the car at the scene and said anyone who sees it would notice damage to the front end.

The Mowry brothers are offering $2,000 for information that leads to the driver. Troopers said they have collected a lot of evidence in this case and are following up on any leads.

“Maybe it was an accident. Stop and get out ok? See you don’t leave somebody to die in the road, come on. But we are going to find you I can tell you that now, cause we are going to keep looking,” Mowry said. “He has a big family that cares, cared for him all his life; he’s a good guy, a very smart guy.”

Anyone with information is urged to call FHP.
