UPDATE 6:34pm | Nicholas Moore has been located.

Deputies search for an inmate that went missing from a political event in New Port Richey.  Deputies say Nicholas Moore walked away from an event at the Verizon Center in New Port Richey before noon today.

Moore is an inmate at the ACTS Keystone Residential Center in Tarpon Springs.  According to the ACTS Florida website, ACTS is a residential treatment facility for people with alcoholism, drug and mental health issues.  The facility is also used for an alternative to incarceration for Pinellas and Hillsborough County jails.

Pasco Sheriff's deputies say that Moore was court-ordered to be at the treatment facility.

Deputies know that Moore took a taxi from Pasco County into Hillsborough County to the Nebraska Avenue area.

The event being held at the Verizon Event Center was a Veterans' Resource Fair hosted by Congressman Gus Bilirakis.

Anyone with information on Moore’s whereabouts is urged to contact 911 immediately.
