A 65-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder and domestic aggravated assault after he reportedly got into an argument with his 14-year-old grandson, threatened to break his neck and then cut the teen with a pocket knife on his ear and arm.
Deputies say Paul Patrick Porter-Jackson also threatened to stab his 33-year-old daughter during the argument.
Before deputies arrived on scene, Porter-Jackson reportedly cut both of his wrists.
Porter-Jackson was visiting his daughter's family in New Port Richey at the time of the incident.
Deputies arrested Porter-Jackson and he was taken into custody without incident. The 14-year-old boy was transported to Trinity Medical Center and he is expected to recover.
