PASCO COUNTY, Fla. — At least one person is dead and 100 gallons of fuel are in the roadway after a crash involving multiple tractor-trailers in Pasco County.
Pasco County Fire Rescue says US-98 is shut down at Station Hill Drive due to the crash.
Florida Highway Patrol says Edward Holzer, 53, of Zephyrhills, died in the crash. Troopers say Holzer was driving a semi northbound when he crossed the center line for unknown reasons.
Holzer hit the left side of another semi, driven by Ophny Duclos, 41, of Winter Haven. Duclos suffered minor injuries.
After Holzer's truck his Duclos, it continued and hit two other vehicles, according to FHP.
