DADE CITY, Fla. — The Dade City Police Department is warning residents of a man apparently soliciting young girl with the promise of "free photo shoots."
Police say the man approached an underage girl, telling her he was a photographer and offering to do a free photo shoot. The girl told her mother, who in turn told police.
"Upon further investigation it was determined that the subject had solicited other young girl in the area for similar 'photo shoots'," the police department wrote on Facebook.
Police say the man gave the girl a phone number to call, but they say it appears he is not affiliated with any legitimate modeling agency.
"Please use caution, and report any similar suspicious activity to law enforcement," police say.
