WESLEY CHAPEL, Fla. — A 22-year-old man who had a seizure and drove into the pond at a park in Wesley Chapel, died on Monday night.
Pasco County Sheriff's deputies and Pasco Fire-Rescue personnel responded to Wesley Chapel District Park at 8:26 p.m.
When officials arrived on the scene, all the driver and his two passengers were submerged in the water.
Deputies and fire officials were able to jump into the water and pull the three occupants of the vehicle to the shore.

The two adult passengers, a male and female, made it out safely. The adult driver was trapped and in the water for a length of time, according to deputies. The driver was transported to a local hospital in critical condition where he passed away a short time later. His name has not been released, pending family notification.
