ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. — The Pasco County Sheriff's Office says one person is dead and another is in critical condition after a stabbing on Sunday night.

Deputies say Kyle Heady, 28, stabbed the victims, who he knew personally, after an argument. According to an arrest report, Heady attacked the unnamed man and woman after repeatedly asking for money.

Heady told deputies he went into a "rage" and started to hit the victims while they sat on the couch watching television, the report says.

According to the report, Heady told deputies he didn't remember using a knife but admitted he was the only other person inside the house.

Deputies responded to the home, located in the Lake Bernadette area, after someone called 911 to report a disturbance. According to the arrest report, responding deputies found Heady bloody and walking naked in the road.

The victims were located by deputies in the living room of the home. The arrest report says several things were broken in the room and the furniture was pushed over, consistent with a fight. Deputies also found a large butcher knife covered in blood in the room, the report says.

The male victim was found with several stab wounds and blunt force trauma to his head, according to the report. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female victim was also found with several stab wounds and blunt force trauma to her head. She was taken to a local hospital where deputies say she remains in critical condition.
