Largo Police are currently investigating an accident involving a police cruiser. The crash happened around 10:15 p.m. Saturday near 3660 East Bay Drive.
The Largo police officer was responding to an emergency call when the crash happened with a second vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle died from injuries.
The police officer was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
Homicide investigators are investigating the accident.
