A Largo High School student’s video, showing her asking her classmate with Down Syndrome, to homecoming, has gone viral.
Kyana Chevalier told ABC Action News she asked her classmate John the question with the help of a sign she was holding.
"Wanna have a ball at homecoming with me?," Kyana asked.
"Yea!" John quickly answered.
Kyana said after class John was walking around during lunch showing off the sign she made for him. Kyana told ABC Action News they were both so excited they were hugging each other and she started tearing up once John said yes.
Their homecoming dance is Saturday, October 21.
