Thousands of Duke Energy customers were without power for a short time Friday morning, according to the company's outage map.
The company's website blamed the outage on damaged transmission lines. A spokespers said weather was not to blame.
The number of households without electricity fluctuated between 9,000 and 26,000 throughout the morning.
Largo Police were dispatched to help drivers get through stoplight intersections.
