Kelly Maronpot said she brings her family dog, Rory, to the Enterprise Dog Park several times a month. She said last weekend Rory got into a small confrontation with another man's dog.
"The guy, the owner stepped in and picked Rory up and my first thought was ok good, he's breaking up the fight, said Maronpot. Then he lifts Rory over his head only then to slam him down to the ground."
She said her father then ran over to Rory and the suspect pushed her father. She said the suspect also deleted cell video that another dog owner took of the incident.
"We are very upset that this guy was able to get away with something like this," said Maronpot.
The family took Rory to a veterinarian and everything appears there will be no long lasting physical effects from the incident.
Suspect description:
-White male
-Approx 25 years old
-Brown hair, full beard
-Owns two dogs
-Drives a yellow Chevy Camaro Convertible.
