Suspects steal kickboxing van, crash into storefront, rob convenience store in Clearwater

CLEARWATER, Fla. - Clearwater Police are investigating a business burglary where a stolen van crashed into the front of a convenience store early Friday morning.

Police officers were called to 4U Convenience Store at 2907 State Road 590 at 2:17 a.m. on Friday. A van that had been stolen from the parking lot of a nearby business was backed into the glass windows of the store. 

The stolen van belonged to a kickboxing business nearby.

The suspects, possibly juveniles, grabbed some items from inside the store and then fled the scene, police say.
