James Arcaro and Steven Markley, a Clearwater native, officially have inked a deal with Shark Tank’s Mark Cuban. The duo went to ABC’s hit show to pitch their original recipe fish dip through their company Reely Hooked Fish Company.

The duo appeared on the show Sunday night seeking $75,000 for 25-percent equity and got a bite from multi-millionaire and entrepreneur Mark Cuban.

Arcaro and Markley are Wildland firefighters and that’s how the two met. They are sent out west to fight huge wildfires. A little more than a year ago, the two created the Reely Hooked Fish Company based out of South Florida and with that came their Smoked Fish Dip.

While Florida is known for its fish dip, they say it’s different from anything you’ve ever tasted and a lot healthier.

“Everybody uses mayonnaise and cream cheese and we wanted to do something different,” Markley told ABC Action News. “To make something that you didn’t feel guilty about eating the entire container. We use Greek yogurt as our base. So it packs it with protein and gives it a lot lower calories.”

They also use apples in their recipe to make it a little sweeter.
