UPDATE | 8:22 a.m.--Clearwater Police Department has confirmed the 7-Eleven robbery is connected to two others from Monday.

Original Story | Clearwater Police are investigating a robbery of the 7-Eleven convenience store at 1725 Drew St. early Tuesday morning.

The call came in just after 2:00 a.m.

Investigators say a white male entered the store demanding cash and implying he had a weapon.  He grabbed money from the cash drawer and left the scene in a vehicle parked nearby.

He is described as 5'5"-5'9" tall and thin, wearing jeans, gray gloves and a red Ron Jon sweatshirt pulled over his face.

It is unknown if this suspect is the same one from two other convenient store robberies Monday, but police are looking into it.
