HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — Three brothers have been arrested in connection to a vandalism case last month at Steinbrenner High.

Bryce Allen Martinez, 19, Christopher Ray Martinez, 26, and their 17-year-old brother were charged with felony criminal mischief and trespassing on schools grounds, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. The trio trickled into the sheriff's office during the past few days to turn themselves in after being spotted on local media reports via surveillance video. A tip also helped identify the brothers.

The three had no connection to the Lutz school, according to HCSO, and never attended Steinbrenner.

Their arrests stem from an incident that occurred around 3:30 a.m. on Nov. 25 when three people tried to force their way into the school at 5575 Luz Lake Fern Road, according to HCSO.

They tried to break windows at the school, using everything from beer cans to a bike seat, but failed, causing $2,500 damage to the glass window panes and door.
