Deputies were called to Dew Drop Lane late last night after neighbors heard gunshots. They arrived to find Leanys Rodriguez-Charon and Carlos Anthony Rodriguez with bullet wounds. The investigation determined the two men were shot by a man who was staying inside the home at 16310 Dew Drop Lane. Deputies said the men broke into the home, because it was a marijuana grow house.
"It's just insane for me to think about I had no idea, this neighborhood is such a quiet and nice neighborhood everybody waves at you when you go down the street I would have never imagined," said neighbor Stephanie Amis.
The person staying inside the grow house left before deputies arrived. Leanys Rodriguez-Charon and Carlos Rodriguez were taken to the hospital. Deputies expect charges to be filed against both men. They are still searching for the gunman.
