TAMPA, Fla. – A special moment for a University of South Florida student who is fighting for his life.
Akshay Naik proudly rang the bell at Moffitt Cancer Center, signaling an end to his chemotherapy treatment.
The 22-year-old man’s life took a dramatic turn earlier this year when he noticed a lump on his neck. Doctors later diagnosed him with stage 3 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
Now, he’s on the road to beating cancer.
