TAMPA, Fla. -- Theaters across the country are playing Avengers: Endgame around the clock to keep up with demand.
The AMC Veterans 24 will be showing Endgame in all of their theaters as U.S. opening of the three hours and one-minute film debuts.
“It’s a big build up for 10 years,” Gabriel Colbath said. "Avengers: Endgame is the movie of the decade, maybe the century. I compare it a lot to Star Wars when it first came out.”
Avengers: Endgame is the 22nd film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe that kicked off with the 2008 release Iron Man.
Fans are connected to characters and worried who survives, and who doesn’t.
”I need some resolution to the last one I need something to happen,” Courtney Pinto said. “I’m really afraid I’m going to cry I’ve got waterproof makeup on right now because what if I start crying. I get really attached to these characters you know you are attached and something happens.”
Fandango is reporting the film is now the biggest preseller in Fandango history, selling more advance tickets than sold for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the previous record holder.
