TAMPA, FLA. — A Florida woman is reaching out to the public and Tampa Police to help her find her stolen wedding rings.

Ashley Johnson says she and her husband were in the process of moving Sunday afternoon, when someone broke into her car and stole her purse, with the rings inside.

“I’m in complete broken-heartedness over my rings,” she said. “My engagement ring, wedding band, and first and fifth-anniversary rings were stolen.”

The couple has filed a police report, but they’re turning to ABC Action News hoping that a viewer can help them find her rings.

“That’s all I want back," she said.

Johnson said her credit cards were used at West Shore Mall, University Mall and International Plaza. They were able to get surveillance video and pictures from some of the stores the cards we’re used in.

“I’m in shock that this happened,” said Johnson.

Detectives are looking for the four boys in the surveillance video. They are not calling the boys suspects at this time, but they want to talk to the boys. They are also looking for a great four-door Ford Fusion.

Johnson says she and her husband don’t care about getting the purse, the money, or cards back.

“I just want my rings,” she said. “Please just return my rings no questions asked.”

The couple is offering a reward for her rings.
