A Tampa based security company with locations across the Bay area and South Florida have strong ties to Nevada too.

Marksman Security Corporation employees over 200 people, including private security officers as part of their private security business in Las Vegas.

The owner, Mark Radi, got the news of the Mandalay Bay shooting in the early hours on Monday just after news broke of a shooter along the Las Vegas strip.

Radi who travels to Vegas every other week, made a trip this week to check on all their employees.

"They're all accounted for now," he said.

Radi tells ABC Action News that some of the employees had family or friends that attended the concert, and some are needing time to deal with tragedy.

Marksman Security is offering support for those private security officers by giving counseling if needed and letting employees take extra time off.

Radi tells us they offer security for different areas of the Vegas strip including the downtown area.

"It's a tragedy that has touched the company," he replied.

Marksman Security says there will be a lot of lessons that will come out of this for the entire country when it comes to security, but for now they are offering their support as the city of Las Vegas starts to heal.
