Tampa police search for car of suspect accused of killing man with baseball bat during argument

TAMPA, Fla. — Police are asking for the public's help in locating the car of a suspect accused of killing a man with a baseball bat during an argument.

The Tampa Police Department said they responded to the 3700 block of N. 29th Street at 4:20 a.m. on Nov. 23 after receiving a report of a male bleeding from the head.

After arriving, officers determined 58-year-old Denorris Singleton had been hit with a baseball bat during an argument.

Singleton was transported to Tampa General Hospital, where he later died in the ICU on Nov. 29.

Officers said the suspect, who "is known to frequent the area," left in a white sedan after hitting Singleton.
