TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Police Department (TPD) is looking for a couple that may have information on a 2018 homicide.
On October 3, 2018, a man and woman are seen on surveillance video driving up to Gracepoint in a white truck. They dropped off an adult white male and were apparently acting as good Samaritans. Police say they left after dropping the man off, and Gracepoint staff did not get a name or telephone number for the couple.
After complaining of upper body pain, the man was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital, where he died ten days later.
The death was re-classified as a homicide on May 8, 2019.
TPD now wants to find the couple seen in the video. They emphasize that the two people are not suspects. However, they may have information that will assist detectives in the investigation.
