A death investigation is underway at Club Envy, a gentlemen's club in Tampa, according to Tampa Police.
Police say the victim and a suspect were involved in an altercation over missing property from inside the nightclub located at 3447 Kennedy Boulevard W and the victim was knocked to the ground and died from his injuries at Tampa General Hospital. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Edward Jerome Taylor.
The suspect and any other parties involved are currently being interviewed by detectives and police say there is no threat to the community at this time. No charges have been filed in this incident.
