TAMPA, Fla. — Divers with the Tampa Police Department pulled an unconscious man from the water near the Gasparilla boat ramp on Saturday.
Police estimate that the man was under the water for more than 30 minutes. Witnesses say he went in after dropping his fishing pole.
Divers found the man unconscious under the water after a short search. He was taken to Tampa General Hospital in an unknown condition.
