Today, Tampa International Airport launched a campaign to collect the best, most creative sidewalk chalk art around the community to put on display as inspiration for TPA’s travelers and employees.

The best works will be showcased on the Airport’s massive Cell Phone Waiting Lot screens, among other locations, the airport says.

Pick your favorite sidewalk, get creative with inspirational or encouraging art (and messages) and upload a picture here.

Submissions will be accepted online from May 5 through May 12.

On Saturday, May 16 from 10 a.m. until noon, TPA invites the community to check out the art as it is displayed on the large screens at the Cell Phone Lot. During this viewing opportunity, visitors are being asked to remain in their vehicles and follow CDC social distancing guidelines as they slowly drive past the screens.

Those whose art is selected to be showcased will be notified via email that their work will be displayed, but all are welcome to join in on the viewing.
