Detectives are currently investigating a shooting in the area of Morris Bridge Road in Thonotosassa.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office responded to the reported shooting Thursday morning.
One person is dead and one person has been transported, according to deputies. The identities of the victims has not been released. Crime scene units are on scene.
