Search underway for Hillsborough man who stole $20K bracelet

HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man who stole a $20,000 gold, Cuban link bracelet. 

The man ran out of the Queen of Palms on Thursday afternoon with the bracelet as an employee went to get a necklace to show him. He got into the passenger seat of a black, Nissan Altima. 

Detectives say the suspect is a black male, around 30 years old, who is between 6'2" and 6'5" tall and weighs between 225 and 250 pounds. 

The man also has long dreadlocks and has a gap between his front teeth. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, black jogger pants, black high top sneakers and very thick eyeglasses.
