TAMPA, Fla. -- The mother of a young boy battling leukemia is begging to regain custody of her son.

Taylor Bland-Ball was stripped of her parental rights after skipping town with 4-year-old son Noah.

They stopped showing up for the chemotherapy treatments recommended for Noah. The family went on to seek "alternative medicine."

The state went on to get a court order to take the boy into its custody.

"I wouldn't say I was 100-percent comfortable," said Bland-Ball. "I don't think I could ever be comfortable just fully putting these things into my son's body."

A judge could decide Tuesday whether Noah McAdams will go back to his mom and dad.
