TAMPA, Fla. – Baseball fans catching a New York Yankees spring training game in Tampa will now have to keep all tobacco products in their pockets or leave them in their cars.
The New York Yankees announced Monday that Steinbrenner Field will be a smoke- and tobacco-free stadium. The policy will be enforced for all stadium events, including all Yankees spring training workouts and games, and all Tampa Tarpons games.
The use of tobacco products such as cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, e-cigarettes and vapor mechanisms will be prohibited in all areas of the stadium.

Those wishing to use tobacco products will now have to use them before walking into Steinbrenner Field.
The Yankees will have designated spaces on the grounds outside of Steinbrenner Field where fans will be able to use before entering the stadium or leaving the stadium.
