HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. -- State troopers say a mother is dead and two of her children are hospitalized after a single-vehicle crash on I-75 Tuesday night.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a call of a crash on I-75 near SR-674 in Hillsborough County a little before 6:30 p.m. According to state troopers, a Hyundai Santa Fe was traveling south on I-75 in the inside lane near SR-674.
The Hyundai was traveling at a high speed and overtook a slower vehicle, state troopers said. The driver of the Hyundai, later identified as 27-year-old Jona Kay Wright, lost control of the car, ran off the road and overturned multiple times in the media, state troopers said.

Wright died in the hospital following the crash. The two passengers, both identified as Wright's son, were transported to St. Joseph's South for minor injuries.
