TAMPA, Fla. — The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly shooting in Tampa Wednesday night.
The sheriff's office said at 9:21 p.m., deputies responded to the Palms at Ashley Oaks apartment complex for reports of shots fired.
Once on the scene, deputies found a man with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives are interviewing witnesses.
