Feeding Tampa Bay will have close to 200 volunteers in their facility Tuesday sorting, separating and packaging supplies.
“It helps you sleep a little bit better at night knowing that you are doing something,” said volunteer Darlene Buell.
Feeding Tampa Bay also says you can never have too much when it comes to supplies.
“If someone is overprepared for the storm and you have excess resources we can get that into the community,” said Thomas Mantz with Feeding Tampa Bay. “If it’s an item you would need during a disaster chances are a neighbor locally or a neighbor across the state could use it as well.”
