SUN CITY CENTER, Fla. — A Hillsborough County man was arrested Friday for entering an 80-year-old woman's home and assaulting her as she slept in January, according to the sheriff's office.
Authorities say Robert Opletal, 73, entered the victim's home and fondled and kissed her as she slept on Jan. 21.

The victim said the suspect covered her face with a towel during the incident. Opletal knew the victim, authorities say. He denied going into her home the night of the incident.
Authorities say lab results show a positive match between Opletal's saliva and evidence found on the victim.
Opletal was arrested and charged with burglary of an occupied dwelling with assault of an elderly victim.
