The Hillsbrough County Sheriff's Office said the victim, who is now 19 years old, told school officials that she and Milis had a sexual relationship when she was a junior at the school. Milis was 28 years old at that time.

During a conversation with the victim, Milis admitted to having sex with her when she was a minor. After overhearing this, detectives went to Milis' home and arrested him.

HCSO does not believe there are any other victims involved.

The Hillsborough County School District said Milis was hired in August 2012 and there are no previous discipline issues in his file. He has been instructed not to go on campus until he meets with the district's Office of Professional Standards.
