Man arrested for DUI after crashing into home had blood alcohol content 3 times the legal limit

TAMPA, Fla. — A 24-year-old man was arrested and charged with DUI after crashing into a home Wednesday night.

Marcelino Gomez was driving a 2006 Nissan Pathfinder on Paris St. West when he left the roadway causing him to crash into a 20 mph speed limit sign, a chain-link fence and finally into a single-family home on Yorkshire Road, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office

Deputies said Gomez's blood alcohol concentration was .233%, which is more than three times the legal limit in Florida.

Gomez was charged with DUI (x2) and no valid driver's license.
