It’s almost time for trick or treating and you don’t have a costume? There is one last minute idea that you can turn to without spending a lot of time or money.
Makeup Artist Jessica Brewster, of The Barbershop by Salon Inga, said more and more people are going with makeup over masks this Halloween season and you don’t have to be a professional to make your face stand out.
“I think people are getting a lot more creative and I think it’s nice with social media and stuff like that you have a lot more sources to pull from,” said Brewster.

She said doing it yourself at home doesn’t have to be complicated or expensive.
“I think that if you have like white, brown and black you can pretty much do a lot of things, like you can do a skull, or even like a joker,” said Brewster. “You can go to almost any super store or drug store and really find anything and honestly it’s only going to cost you between maybe five and ten dollars.”
Brewster said it only takes a few easy steps and most makeup jobs can be complete within 30 minutes.
